The birthday boy - yup 23/12/04 was my 40th birthday of which the documented part was lunch at the Oxo brasserie on the South Bank with Janice, Ewan & Rosie 

Yeah boy, you may have that fine curly hair now, but see what genetics has in store for you...mwah ha ha ha

up Wardour Street, in the middle of which a film crew were recording. Shame about the focus on this one - it says "Precious" in sequins across the girl's bottom - I was nervous of the flash going off and getting "are you taking pictures of my girlfriend's arse?" or worse.

My cousin Lucy got married yesterday, here at Kingston Maurwood near Dorchester - yes there wasn't a cloud in the sky and it was gorgeously warm in the last week in September. Perfect.

The new Waterstone's has opened on over three floors in Oxford Street - and to celebrate, God poured a great deal of WATER on the flagSTONEs outside it.
